SPECIAL NIGHT IN CUMBERLAND
1/15/2018by Nadia Roy - NCJHL Webmaster

Dear fans,

NCJHL is happy to announce a special event. It has now become their tradition that the Cumberland Bandits would be hosting a fundraising event during one of their home games. This season is no exception.

The Bandits are looking to make the final wish of Paul Massad come true - providing for his son. Paul was 21 years old when he diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma in early 2016. Efforts to put cancer into remission were unsuccessful, and sadly, Paul lost his battle against cancer and passed away on November 23, 2017, leaving behind a beautiful 3-year-old son Bentley.

TONIGHT, January 20th @ 7:30 pm, the Bandits will be facing off against the Clarence Castors. All of the proceeds from this game will be donated to the fund set up for Bentley. Paul's family, friends, and of course, his son, will be in attendance alongside other VIPs and special guests.

You can purchase your ticket for this game in advance by clicking HERE. While nothing can bring back his father, the funds will go towards helping Bentley have a future Paul would wish for him.

If you wish to donate to the fund directly, you can do so via Paul's GoFundMe page.
