The National Capital Junior Hockey League is expanding with the addition of a new franchise in Blackburn Hamlet. The Blackburn Inferno Junior Hockey Club will make its debut in the 2017-2018 hockey season.

Pierre Thibaudeau will be owner and head coach of the Inferno (he is the former head coach of another NCJHL team, the Cumberland Bandits). "I've enjoyed my experience with this league over the last few seasons. I seized the opportunity to grow this league", said Pierre Thibaudeau.

This new franchise is creating excitement in the community, especially within the Blackburn Minor Hockey Association. Over the next few months, the Blackburn Inferno will be engaging the local businesses community with partnership opportunities and collaboration.
