With the regular season coming to an end in 7 games, there are many exciting things to look forward to!
First, of course, there are the final regular season standings. In the South Division, while it is already known that Embrun Panthers will face off against North Dundas Rockets, and St-Isidore Eagles will match up against Vankleek Hill Cougars, the home ice advantage is still up for grabs in the latter series. But it could become a real nail-biter in the North Division! Of course, with 48 points, Papineauville Vikings will have home ice advantage in the first round of playoffs, but which team will they play against?! With all three potential opponents - Rockland Nationals, Cumberland Bandits, and Gatineau Hull-Volant - playing this weekend, we'll have to pay close attention to the action on the ice.
Once final whislte blows and the regular season standings are finalized, the 8 teams moving onto the playoffs will work hard to figure out their Round 1 schedules. As soon as those become available, they will be posted here.
Finally, every year, team executives put forth their deserving nominees for each of the 10 award categories. This coming Monday, February 15, 2016, the NCJHL Regular Season Award winners will be announced right here!
Stay tuned!
